About Ian Donald Optometrist
An iconic founder
Wallaby legend Rob Heming was the greatest line-out jumper in the world in his time, but his greatness extended beyond rugby. He founded our practice in 1957, and his legacy of excellence in eye care combined with traditional customer service lives on today.
In 1983, a teenager sharing the same passion for optometry and exceptional service became part of the Manly practice – Ian Donald. Mentored by the icon himself, Ian embraced Rob’s dedication to clinical excellence and providing the best in eye care for patients.
