About Us

All of our friendly optometrists and optical dispensers live and play in and around Manly. You'll see them out in the surf, at local football fields & lifesaving at local beaches.

Heming Scott & Donald Optometrists have been caring for the eyes of the Manly community for over 50 years. With Three optometrists and Three optical dispensers, we believe we are the best-qualified practice in Sydney. Wallaby rugby legend Rob Heming founded the practice in 1957. In 1980, he was joined by husband and wife Trevor and Helen Scott, and then by Ian Donald in 1991.

Trevor, Helen and Ian now provide most of the optometry care.

Simple to find and easy to access, at 46 The Corso, Manly, we are right next to the church, on the corner of Darley Road. Parking can be found close by in Wentworth and Whistler Streets; we are very close to a taxi rank and just a short stroll away from Manly Wharf and the Sydney Buses’ Manly hub.
